Keldyn
I think if you have managed to get yourself banned (which involves successive breaches of our guidelines) then you are in NO position to demand anything of us.

Steven P. Administrators Posted March 19, 2004 Administrators Share Posted March 19, 2004 The bottom line here is that a member contributed to Neowin and then requested the removal of a popular topic/guide. This means that in the future Neowin will not sticky any topics submitted by members without a PM giving Neowin full rights to the posted material. We already have that permission since this is a private board but we will post it along with the topic so all our members know that its a contribution regardless of what the member gets himself into here later at Neowin. The guide is also not unique, its made from other guides as well as experience so someone could quite easily make one similar (which is why MSFN seemed to think they owned the rights to it)

I wouldn't necessrily call it original information to begin with. It's a compilation of a lot of sources. Google a guide, and you'll find a lot of them out there. mm3h
It wasn't a compilation of sources he learned from. It was Microsoft Training and exessive reading of the support tools and reference material MS supplied in their CD which made him learn and understand Windows PE & Unattended scripting. So like Homer said, you don't know half the story.

configure Veteran Posted March 19, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 19, 2004 I don't mind really, as long as we have the guide for Neowin, I'm happy :)
Redmak Administrators Posted March 19, 2004 Administrators Share Posted March 19, 2004 I think we discussed this enough already. I can fully understand that .Atlantis wanted his post removed. He did put a lot of time and affort in it afterall. On the other hand we don't ban people just for fun, he was warned many times already and just ignored every warning. I agree with Neobond, this shows we need to protect ourselves.
