stokd
Something seems to not be working right with the taskbar in XP and makes it downright ugly. The autohide feature isn't pretty like it was in IE 5.0. It used to slide nicely on and off the screen and now in XP, it slides in and then flashes off. Does someone have a way to fix this? A registry hack maybe? Any help is appreciated.
mimeryme
Previously in the Win9x iteration of the taskbar, the default is for it to slide, but it can be changed. The slide effect is lost when you disable the menu scrolling effect and/or the show windows while moving option through the DisplayProperties. In XP, you can make the taskbar scroll when hiding by enabling the menu effects (scrolling, I think fading does the same) by going to DisplayProperties>Appearances>Advanced Hope this helps.:D
