hornett
I'm pretty happy with my current Fedora install apart from one thing... I miss the snappy-responsiveness of the 2.6 kernel. :pinch: Installing 2.6 isn't an option as I have video playback issues with it. Is there a way I can improve the performance of the 2.4 kernel? Perhaps a patch or something? I'm running 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl currently. Thanks Andy :D
CaKeY
Have you recompiled it for your hardware? That'll make a difference.

MR_Candyman
how bout patch it to 2.4.25? There is a significant speed improvment in doing so...not as much as 2.6, but still pretty nice
