Stingray
My fixed disk layout is this: Disk 1: Drive c: 3,38Gb, NTFS, 4Kb clusters Drive d: 6,15Gb, NTFS, 512 bytes clusters Disk 2: Drive e: 4Gb, NTFS, 4Kb clusters. I?ve tried reconverting drive d: to FAT32, then to 4Kb clusters (had 512 bytes before in NTFS, just like at the present time) and then reconverting to NTFS. It automatically converted the cluster size to 512 bytes again. Question is: How can I force 4Kb clusters in drive d:? I?m using PowerQuest PartitionMagic Pro Version 7.0 (Build 283) 10-08-2001 on Windows XP professional - English. I?d like to avoid formatting the d: drive, because it?s full of stuff (games) that would be a pain to reinstall and patch and stuff. I don?t have much free space on the other drives (full of programs, work and MP3s). Can someone give me any magical expert advice here? Thanks. freeza
format it from "my computer" it gives you the choice of what cluster size you want to use 512 1024 2048 4096 etc....

ElGato
I know you can change the cluster size on FAT(32) with PM7, maybe you can do the same on NTFS?
Stingray
No you can?t. But Freeza?s solution is simple and works fine. I just unistalled all games. Thanks for the help.
