MPH
Sometimes when I visit Neowin, I have to login again, despite the fact I didn't delete cookies. Usually this happens once every 2 or 3 days. I noticed this problem started when I installed XPSP2 (build 2082) and this problem occurs also with XPSP2 RC1, however I'm not sure this is related with XPSP2. john smith 1924 Veteran Posted March 22, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 22, 2004 I'd also suggest filing a bug with microsoft regardind the issue- if you are sure it was introduced with sp2.
MPH
I'd also suggest filing a bug with microsoft regardind the issue- if you are sure it was introduced with sp2. Based on my experience I'm almost sure they will blame it's Neowin's fault. I will report the problem on MS beta newsgroup first.

JoDaddy
I frequent neowin on two different computers. One at home, and the other at work. I use MyIE2 on both. The one at home has ZoneAlarm, the one at work is behind a firewall at the server level (I work at a school). The one at work [/b]always logs me in automatically, the one at home I have to login every so often (it seems random). ZoneAlarm deletes my cookies every 14 days, but I have to login more often than that. The only thing I'm blocking from Neowin is the ads in ZoneAlarm, everything else is unblocked. I have neowin in my safe list also. I have done none of this to the computer at work - it just logs me in automatically. Are there any suggestions? Wannes
it's a common problem all over invision board forum (check the bb support section and you'll know what i am talking about) and there is yet to be a fix for it. in the meantime try this:
configure Veteran Posted April 12, 2004 Veteran Share Posted April 12, 2004 I don't think that allowing "third-party" cookie is a good idea though :/

bangbang023 Veteran Posted April 12, 2004 Veteran Share Posted April 12, 2004 I don't think that allowing "third-party" cookie is a good idea though :/ I was the one who took that screenshot and unfortunately you do have to set it up that way for some invision setups. I am not sure why. However, it has never caused me or anyone I Know any problems allowing the 3rd party cookies.
