rsjagtia
Hey everybody, appreciate all the help i'm getting. I've got a couple of newbie questions whose answers i haven't found: 1) I downloaded FireFox and extracted it. to run it i must click on firefox.sh. However how do i make a shortcut where Konqurer and the other KDE buttons are?? 2) Where should i place this extracted folder? Any other tips wud be appreciated :). Thanks. eevoo
1. To make a shortcut to it, right click on the desktop, choose create new then file, then application shortcut. give it a description, then under the application tab, in the box with Command infront of it, put the path to the FireFox.sh click ok out of all that and drag it up to the bar. 2. I am sure there is a better place for it, but I just keep mine in my home directory.
markwolfe Veteran Posted March 23, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 23, 2004 You can also run kemenu (I think you can get there through the KDE control center). Or, if you right-click on the panel, you can add an app, I believe...
