HellBender
I'm on an intranet for school and I want to kill all network connections on my computer. No in, no out until I reboot my computer. How do I do this?

HellBender
hme0... sounds like a Sun box? :) An old SPARC 233mhz. Its physically painful to use a computer this slow.
Chicane-UK Veteran Posted March 23, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 23, 2004 It doesn't get much better as you go up in the hardware stakes with Sun, unless you can afford an Enterprise or something. If its running Slowaris, it just runs like crap. I was stunned when I installed Solaris on my Sun Blade 100 (500MHz / 256MB RAM) and it ran like.. well.. it wasn't very quick. Now.. old SGI gear.. thats where the speed is at. Even using the most up to date version of IRIX, my old Indy and Indigo2 used to kick ass :)

I think i'll scour ebay someday... If its running Slowaris, it just runs like crap. BWAHAHA! I had never heard "Slowaris" before. I gotta remember this one.
