MulletRobZ
Good lord! This has got my goat for sure. In Mandrake 9.0, XCDRoast 0.98 Alpha 10 and Alpha 13 was able to use all my devices. Now, in Mandrake 10.0, when I ran the device scanning list, no devices comes up! What?s up with that? Something tells me that Mandrake 10 does not compile SCSI emulation by default, otherwise it would have worked. Am I correct on this one? If it is, I just add hdd = ide-scsi to the LILO, correct? If it is not, then how can the problem be fixed? Oh, now I wished I hadn?t lent my Slackware 9.0 CD, LOL!
LordHatrus
erm, I always thought Mandrake compiled... nothing? It's all binaries and pre-compiled stuff. *shudder* I'm pretty sure it has SCSI support tho, and I think yes, that is how you add it to LILO, but I don't know for sure, I don't have any SCSI drives. (This really isnt a XCDRoast question, is it?)
