mtgriffith
Are there no other local accounts on the computer that are in the administrator group? This comes from Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q258289 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;en-us;Q258289 To Reset the Administrator's Password Log on to the computer as a user with administrative privileges, and perform the steps listed above for the Administrator account. If the Administrator password needs to be reset, and there are no other users with administrative access, there is no way to recover the password and the operating system will need to be reinstalled. That's kind of strange since 99.9% of all PC's/Servers have floppy drives. Any good admin has a floppy drive in their server for recovery disks, startup disks and for things like you're having problems with. If you put in a floppy drive and use one of those boot disks it is very easy to reset the admin password.
