mtgriffith
That means that it is not bootable. Try again.

Guest Dclanz
Well I'm using Nero and I saw a walkthrough awhile back, but I can't remember the exact steps. I even created a succesful bootable copy on a cd-rw which my little cousin was so kind as to erase and burn his soldier of fortune upon.:(
Jon
Making a bootable winXP cd from another should just be a simple nero 1:1 disk copy. Is the OS on the hdd broken? I suspect the cd is fine, but the OS on the hdd has a screwed mbr, and you forgot to alter the boot device order in the bios. If it is a messed up hdd, you can fid the ntldr error (normally) using fixmbr in the recovery console. Jon
.....
you cant use a new version of nero, as it sets the isofileversion key in the registry every time it loads now, it has to be disabled, create the iso in disc juggler 3.8b and the burn the iso in nero, make sure you disable isofile version
