Daedalus
Hi, I'm setting up a mixed Mac and PC network at home at the moment... so far so good with the PC side as I have had a good deal of experience with them. However, I am new to Macs (and loving OS X.3) but I'm having trouble finding out which Airport cards I need. I have an 'old' Power Mac G4 Duel 533Mhz and a Power Book G4 500Mhz (both are about 2 years old now, although I have just got them) and I have installed Panther on them both. I would ideally like to have them connected wirelessly at 54Mbps, so can anyone advise me on the cards I need for both? Thank you. P.S. I assume the age of the Macs means they aren't Airport Extreme compatible, so I was thinking about getting an Ethernet Bridge, are there any other solutions from third-parties available? Snafu
I think you need the orignal airport card (found here)

Daedalus
Thanks, I ended up buying a Wireless Ethernet Bridge so I could connect my Power Mac at 54Mbps. I also bought a Airport card for the Power Book, which limits me to 11Mbps, but is more convinient than an external option.
