mattmatik
What the **** did he expect? 162-0 record? Give me a break. I mean, I'd be ****ed if I spent over $100 million for some 25 male athletes in tight pants too, but I seriously doubt their playoff hopes are all but gone after...1 game. It's going to be funny seeing Georgy Porgy all hot and bothered when he finds out what Braves fans had to experience: Sheffield's meltdown in the postseason. The only player they have that I even respect is Derek Jeter, and even he isn't respected by Steinbrenner (there's much more to that A-Rod deal, oh yes  ). StaticX
i read he wasnt mad, he made a comment after the first game saying "its not how you start its how you finish" and it makes perfect sense... look at my football team, the vikings started out 6-0 and what happened...lol... 9-7 they started out great, but didnt finish strong.... but at least they tore up the chiefs.... :p
Ivand
Yankees homer their way to splitThe Yankees left quite a lasting image on Japan, rebounding from their season-opening loss by crushing the Devil Rays, 12-1, to salvage a split of the two-game Opening Series at the Tokyo Dome  ... Anubis187
Did everyone forget 1998 when they started with a bad record and then went on to win 100+ games, like 20 games in front of the red sux. and destroyed everyone in the playoff and sweeping the padres.
