mimeryme
Could someone please tell me how to maintain a good Fat32 partition? I'm running on win98 and use a database program. I try my best to scandisk and defrag when the pc's not in use, but I always seem to end up w/ those scandisk files at the root drive when scandisk finds lost clusters. Running the files through notepad, I see that some of the information from the database I have are there. This means that I lost some information from my database. I index and pack my database every week, but the disk problems does not help. How can I prevent this?

mimeryme
Hmm.. that means I should upgrade to an NT OS. I wonder if the database program is NT compatible. Gotta look for that install CD/manual. Thanks for the info.
