kemical
Dropline Gnome Test1 has been released, which includes Gnome 2.6. www.dropline.net dropline is cool and all, but once you install it, removing it is not worth the hassle :( it will basically kill your system
kemical
Relax a bit ok..... jeez.I know what it is and I've worked more then 5 minutes with it. I've been dealing with this since Windows 95 and I tried it long enough in Gnome 2.6 to say that I hate it. Research or not, there is a reason why Microsoft decided to drop it and why MacOSX works different too. It is because it clutters the desktop and you loose sight of what is where.... at least that is my experience. That you have tons of shortcuts, mouse actions or whatever to manage it doesn't make it much better. It still feels like crap for me. Also I find it kind of stupid how they are trying to re-invent the wheel and making it a new breakthrough feature.... while other OS-es don't use it and proved it to be less usefull then other methods. This is just my personal opinion, if you like the way it works... well good for you. I think it blows. thats great schmoove, now move on... there is a reason for everything obviously not everyone can be pleased.
