astrokat
I was able to authenticate my Mac Client (10.3.3) to my active directory server. However, after logging in sucessfully, my home directory does not auto mount. When I try to manually mount my shares using SMB, but I receive ?invalid username or password? message. However it never prompts me with an additional login/password screen (only when initially logging in). When I have Netbios enabled on my server, everything works fine, my home directory automounts and I can connect to my shares via SMB. My DNS appears to work fine with both forward and reverse look ups since my ips on the network properly resolve when using the Network Utility. The dsconfigad -domain command confirms I have connected properly to the domain. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?:blink:ink:
aristotle-dude
Have you checked all the setting in the Directory access tool in utilities? There are a few settings you have to enable to fully participate in the domain.
