KenLin
I don't think SuSE provides iso images. you either do an FTP install or buy it

sbarn
I believe I remember hearing from a person who worked at SuSE that they're policy is that you can download/put up iso images, but you can not sell them and there is no support. So i believe that link would be legal.
sbarn
scratch that that's a link to selling them. I don't believe that is allowed.
AJAJ
Try Linuxiso.org. Pretty sure they only do legal stuff. Sorry you can only download the boot.iso. SuSE have a policy of not releasing the distribution isos, they want you to use their installer.
DaveHope
SuSE 8.0 and above have not been avaliable for download. SuSE has made SuSE 7.3 Personal avaliable for free. I'm sure it's illegal for you to download ISO images, if you brought suse in the first place perhaps email them, give them your support ID and see what they have to say on the matter. randomnut
ok lets clear this up. It IS legal to put up ISOS etc, just SUSE dont like it. Anyway, Just buy it! Ive been beta testing SUSE 9.1 and my ghod its good. Pre order it at www.suse.com its out on may 6th. Anyway, with the boxed version you get the manuals and tech support should you need it, and it also goes to helping future SUSE development. Ive had access to the betas to review, and although I will have access to the finished item I am still going to buy it, so im still contributing. Believe me its worth the money, go buy it! www.suse.com
DaveHope
ok lets clear this up.It IS legal to put up ISOS etc, just SUSE dont like it. Last time I contacted suse on giving out ISOs to a few friends, they said it would be illegal for me to do so, and suggested they do an ftp install or purchase a copy. Has this changed in recent months then? or was I just given incorrect information?
