blik
I have decided to give linux another go, I tried Mandrake before and just couldnt get into it, I have read a thread about linux where alot of people say that Fedora Core 1 is a good distro. So I'm gonna try it, in that thread a few people said to download the RPM's aswell, so thats 6 CD's in total. My question is, is there any way of putting all 6 ISO's onto 1 bootable DVD, or can someone give me a link to a bootable DVD ISO... Thanks
MrStaticVoid
You only need the first 3 CD's. The last 3 have the source code on 'em. Many people have asked if they could burn everything to 1 DVD, but I have heard of no success stories.

It may still be better to get the source for each individual package installation as you want them, instead of getting 6 isos. Stuff like Rhythmbox, among others, have matured a lot since the Core 1 release.
