Zoneblitz61
Everytime i try and click on a link to a mp3, for instance on mp3.com, it will automatically save the mp3 to a temp folder and start playing it in winamp, but i want it to prompt me to save it or open it, and let me specify where it saves to, so how do i get it back to that state? mimeryme
Zoneblitz61, what OS are you using? You should be able to do the following on windowsOS after winMe: Get to the "Folder Options..." window (one way is to go to an Explorer window & click Tools>Folder Options...) Select the "File Types" tab and find the MP3 extension. Highlight it and click the "Advanced" button. You should see a new window and towards the bottom there should be an option to "Confirm open after download." :( Okay, I just tried this on WMA, but it doesn't work. ::lame:: You might want to try it anyway though. Of course, if the file type is not associated with a program, you'd be asked on what to do with the file *.mp3. This sucks though, then u can't just double click on an mp3 file to play it in your favorite player. :( dang :ermm: sorry if this wasn't much help
UnaBonger
Try right clicking on the MP3 link and then selecting Save As. This will let you name it and save it where you want... Hope this helps. Una
