dyl4n
I'm trying to install Fedora Core 1 on my laptop and gives me a "Input/output error on /dev/hda" message right before it starts formatting the disk. I don't think my hard drive is bad because it is rather new so is there anything I can use to kind of "prepare" my hard drive for this?
DaveHope
strange...I recall seeing that before but cannot recall where..Try and get your hands on another distro and format the drive with that..tomsrtbt will do the trick...fits onto a floppy.
