MrA
I wanna see what setting my HDD is using so I go and type: hdparm /dev/sda This is what I get: /dev/sda: readonly = 0 (off) geometry = 9964/255/63, sectors = 160086528, start = 0 From what I read, I'm supposed to get more info. What's up?

Thanks, I didn't read the part that says " (except when a given device is SCSI, in which case -gr is the default)" EDIT: Damn, I can't get any info. Stupid SCSI interface.
