thetman
i am trying to install mythTV on fedora core 2 with no avail, mind you im no linux savy expert but im getting errors saying i dont have the right dependencies for librpm..., im using the guide found here and i get to the point where im supposed to download and run kickstart thing from atrpms but it says i dont have the right librpm...(something) i think it is becasue the package is for FC 1 and im trying to use 2, i have found the general rpm's for mythTV and its addons but those dont seem to work to well either , does anyone here have any experince with mythTV, or suggestions as to which distro I should use for it? pirokiko
Expect issues with Fedora 2 as it isnt a full release yet. All i can suggest is to try running yum mythTV and see if there is a version for FC2. That or try to get all the dependencies manually (google)
LordHatrus
Yeah, just upgrade all your libraries to see if you can get a good clean compile. Not much else to do.
