frease
Hi, I have tried out Mandrake 9.2 and Knoppix harddrive install but still, I can't get these 2 (below) to work with Linux nor BeOS :pinch: They are: -Video card: C.P. Technologies Inc. RADEON 9200SE - Modem: Aztech DSL 100U I have looked at many Linux forums and all the answered they provide do not work. Anyone using either one of these drivers have actually got them working nicely on Linux or BeOS? Thanks for any help.
DaveHope
For the graphics card, you may be stuck with standard VESA drivers. For the modem , take a look here - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/ar...003/12/4/123708 and here http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/index.php?lang=en
frease
Thanks :) I have tried the solution for the modem before. I can install the modem but it refuses to connect. In the end, it always times out. For the graphics card, I have seen this on a forum and tried it: http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/linux/radeon-linux.html But during installation, an error message popped up and I can't install it anymore. I am really out of ideas :(
DaveHope
The error message for the graphics card, what was it?
frease
I forgot the exact message but it is something like I can't replace a certain file. I'll try again later and then paste the exact message here.
