ClubNinja
Does anyone here know how to install Gnome 2.6 on Fedora Core ?
DaveHope
if there are packages avaliable from Fedora, they will appear in up2date (I assume Fedora use that). You can either search for third-party binaries or compile from source.

itsnotabigtruck
You can get Gnome 2.6 from the development branch. All the Fedora packages work on Red Hat too. I got Gnome 2.6 on my Red Hat 9 box in a cinch. Here are some packages I know you'll need: libgnome libgnomeprint libgnomeprint22 libgnomeprint15 gnome-* nautilus nautilus-media control-center gedit GConf2 gconf-editor The * is a wildcard. I know you'll need some more, just look at the dependency listings. :) I know that control-center requires a whole load of bizarre dependencies that 2.2 or 2.4 don't need.
