Recommended Posts

Can someone please clarify this myth for me? I have OS X, and I am trying to install in VMware...Nada. I have a decent PC (P4 2.4GH OC to 4.0GH, 300GB SATA HD, 4GB RAM, DVD-ROM, DVD+-RW, XP Pro blah blah blah) that I would like to run Final Cut Pro on, but you need OS X to run it!!! Please help! Thanx

Now if you all stopped acting like children and explained it to him.

OSX runs on PowerPC architecture, which, if im right and im no processor architecture expert, is somewhat different than the x86 processors we use in PCs.

At the moment there is no emulation software out that emulates OSX, so your only bet is to buy a mac.

an apple systems engineer visited our college and told us that apple does have a pc running OS X, yes is possible, but not out of the box

Thats an urban myth, if apple released OSX for x86 theyed pretty much go under, why buy a ?2,000 apple mac when you can buy a ?500-800 pc to run OSX.
