ProgramGeek
Hey, Heres my prob with transfering to my Ipod: I have a http://www.bip.cl/ecommerce/buscador2.php3?id_producto=659 kind of case, and I try to connect my hard drive to the front IEEE1934 firewire (6pin) and it isnt detected. I am curious if my OS is detecting that my front firewire is in stalled. :p Anyone know where i can find the drivers for this baby? Is there such thing as a IEEE1934 to USB connecter? Thanks Tony
cyansky
Your subject says "ipod problem" then mention connecting a hard drive to the front firewire ports. Are you referring to the iPod as the hard drive? If you are talking about the iPod, or the iPod and another hard drive, have you checked the device manager to see if your firewire ports are seen and installed. Also, are the motherboard connections set up correctly to those front ports. Another thing to test is plugging the iPod into the rear FireWire ports, if there are any. Also, to the best of my knowledge I am not aware of a USB to FireWire converter. They are to different protocols. And dresticaly different in speeds.
