NeoBay - Let Thread Starter / Seller Close Topics

Recommended Posts

Neobond, Remak, Voodoo and others.. :)

I was thinking This seems quite harmeless IMO in that forum.

I think it would be a great help to your moderators if you can add it in. Sort of like the auction has ended and you don't neeed to depend on the mods help so much (Y).

Opinions Please (Y)

Why not just create a whole new forum called NeoBay? I have been to many other forums in the past and each one of them has a Buy/Sell forum on their Discussion board. I think it would be a good way for Neowin to attract new members. Many people may not have great computer etc. intellect but they know how to sell things.

I am all for a NeoBay Forum.

If we allow members to have ability to close his/her topic on that forum, please remember, the members also have the ability to lock other's post, so, it's not a good idea to let members have that ability.

Why not? I don't understand. It's their thread, dedicated to what they want to sell. I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't understand how it could be bad if they locked the thread when they wanted to.

It gives you the option for a Title and subtitle

in the Title, write what it is and in the subtitle the date it closes. THEN on that date, the mod can go through and close those threads!

tada!
