How to run 'ifup wlan0' automatically at startup?

Recommended Posts

I just installed Suse 9.0 and my internet will not start unless I (as root) type 'ifup wlan0'. How would I make it automatically issue that command before (or after) my system starts up?

hey thanks i got one of the methods on that page to work for me.

if anyone else is a newbie like me and needs help, all you have to do is create a startup script in /etc/init.d and link it to /etc/init.d/rc5.d and it works perfectly

thanks again cpugeniusmv
