Staying Up All Night!

Recommended Posts

I need some advice, i'm planning on staying up all night! How fun? But i'm starting to get a bit tired, is there anything I can do that will force my body to stay awake and active. Coffee and Coke are out of the question (we're all out), so I thought i'd turn to you guys. I figure you guys have stayed up all night before, so come on and tell me your secrets!

Yeah I was at a 'Halo Party' on Friday. We stayed up all nite. LAN'ed up our XBOXes with 12 kids. Drank TONS of Coke, Dr. Pepper, etc., ate TONS of pizza and chips, and spazzed out like rabid animals. Fun s**t :D.

It really isnt that hard to stay up all night, as long as your doing something. Im out with my mates cruisng around every saturday night, even though im sitting in a car all the time, I still can stay awake. Eat some fruit, that stuff is as good as coffee for keeping you awake.

Go run somewhere...half-mile or so. Run as fast as possible; the ideal result is when you are done for your hands to shake. I guarantee you will find it difficult to sleep.

hey... i'm staying up all night too... i do one night every weekend... i have to work a 12 hour overnight at work... you just have to absolutely refuse to sleep... even at 4 or 5 when it becomes sooooooooo difficult... you have to exert your will. time will also go really slow around these hours.... but you will get a second wind...and just before you decide to go to bed you will feel awake and it will be slightly hard to fall asleep... but not that hard!

Wait. Did you really make that post at 11:13pm? I'm in Ohio and it says it was made at 11:13pm. So if you're actually in Jersey, then I got news for you...

You need practice. Here it is 5:20am and I'm not even yawning yet :)

Although it probably helps that I woke up at 1:30pm. :ninja:

Staying awake for 24 hours is hard enough, to actually skip a night of sleep (meaning something like 40 hours w/o sleep) is really tough. You basically need to have things to do that can't wait until you get some sleep. If you have nothing to do and you're just watching tv or on your computer, forget about it. You'll pass out in your chair. You need drive.

For instance, it's the morning of your last day of college class before graduation and you've got two group projects, a paper and two homeworks due by 2:00pm.

Ok, that's my motivation. What's yours?
