Staying Up All Night!

Recommended Posts

yeah, motivation is the best way to stay awake.

I had a lab report due in and I stayed up all night to do it. I'd gotten up at 8am that day, stayed up all night doing it (after a full day of lectures) and finished it, handed it in and went for another full day on campus (including 6 hours of lab), then I went home and couldn't get to sleep. I finally got to sleep at 1am the following mornin.

I was up for a total of 41 hours.

I did that twice and the second time I was up for 50 hours. once you get past a day and a half any more is easy.

Just don't do to much of this, it's proven it will eventually drive people insane to stay awake to much.

Looks like I'm insane, then. ;)

I find that insomnia works well to keep me up all night. *sigh*

 Cheers, mate... me too!

Anway, Bawls is cool for staying up... but really, motivation is the best.

If you're hanging out with a bunch of dudes, LAN party-ing all night long, you won't sleep, as long as you can keep the 'fun level' up!

More people = More variety = more fun!!!!

I totally changed my lifestyle to live at night without coffee or other energy drinks... :) it takes time...

Just try every day to go to sleep a bit later... and get up later too :)

I need some advice, i'm planning on staying up all night! How fun? But i'm starting to get a bit tired, is there anything I can do that will force my body to stay awake and active. Coffee and Coke are out of the question (we're all out), so I thought i'd turn to you guys. I figure you guys have stayed up all night before, so come on and tell me your secrets!

why do you want to stay up all night? i want to sleep but find it hard to nod off...naturally born night owl i guess

But from my student days...mix of red bull and pro-plus tablets..guaranteed !

Try Polyphasic Sleeping  or you could try standing against a wall drinking lots of coffee, listening to merzbow cds, take a cold shower every

4 hours ,turn on a strobe light  ;) ..anyways polyphasic sleeping you sleep 15 minutes every 4 hours its also called Uberman Sleep.Do a search interesting stuff.I would only try it one day though it definitely couldn't be good for several days.

seriously, don't rely on caffeine to stay up. caffeine works using the same principal as amphetamines, cocaine, and heroin. i did this when i was a teen and now i can't get past a day without 3-4 cups per day.

whenever I have this drink called Sobe No Fear, I have to make myself go to bed at around 6 am cause I don't wanna sleep the whole next day. That stuff is soooo crazy, its even got creatine in it for some reason!

Motivation... YAY..

i once stayed up for like a week.. loads of motivation.. launching of a new service at work....

I don't believe you lol Usually after I stay up for more than 30 hours I start to shake, and I bet that's the case for most people(unless of course you eat a lot, then I guess that could be different).

BTW isn't bumping old topics a criminal offence on Neowin ;)
