eXpired Posted April 28, 2004 Share Posted April 28, 2004 First, sorry for posting a new thread but the SP2 thread is so convoluted by now that I can't find anything relevant about my issue with SP2 in it. After installing SP2 RC1 for Windows XP about a week ago, the process csrss.exe takes a minimum of 50% CPU utilization at all times. Does anybody know what might be causing this? It didn't do it before SP2, and slows my system down to a crawl. If nobody has seen this or doesn't have any idea how to fix it, how do I uninstall SP2? I couldn't find an entry in add/remove programs, and re-running the setup doesn't seem to prompt for a reinstall either. Can anybody help?
