Fozzieb
Is there a way or an app to allow me to play my .m4a (apple itunes aac) files on linux, these are not the protected files just the normal ones. if mac OSX runs on a linux core, could they not port iTunes to linux easier than the windows port? Cheers
Si Veteran Posted April 28, 2004 Veteran Share Posted April 28, 2004 Get an AAC plugin for XMMS, eg http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idp...g.i386.rpm.html :)

markwolfe Veteran Posted April 28, 2004 Veteran Share Posted April 28, 2004 if mac OSX runs on a linux core, could they not port iTunes to linux easier than the windows port? MacOS X runs on a BSD kernel, not Linux. Sort of like cousins: but not directly related, but a lot of the same DNA. And the answer would be "yes", but I think that they moved the product to where the market is...
