Jelly2003
I'm running Gentoo, primarily using KDE 3.2.1, I also have Gnome 2.4 installed. Basicly my system looks great apart from GTK applications which always use the default theme. I have changed GTK themes in Gnome, but it doesnt really make a difference when logged in KDE. Does anybody know how to install GTK themes in KDE? thanks
kjordan2001
You'd have to change the theme in Gnome. I suppose you could pop up the Gnome theme manager in KDE. You can also make GTK apps look like QT apps in KDE (although I don't remember the program name that does it).
wickedlester
what you need is gtk-theme-switcher ;)
Danrarbc
Yep, emerge gtk-theme-switch. Then you can run switch2 to select the GTK themes. You might like this GTK engine too
ChrisArr
Or just edit (or even create, I had to on mdk10c), .gtkrc-2.0 in your home folder.
