BananaMan
Hey everyone, I want to get back onto Linux, and since I don't have access to broadband, I'm going to order Fedora on CD from EverythingLinux Australia. However, it's $30 (and all they've done is burnt the CD's and written on them with sharpies!), so I don't want to waste my money on Core 1 if Core 2 is just around the corner. Is it worth waiting until Core 2? The release schedule on the Fedora Project site has a release slated for May 17th, is this a reliable date? Cheers! thetman
all the final will be is just updated rpms, but easiest thing to do is to get someone from neowin to download them for you and send them to you and give them like $5 id do it but postage to australia would be too high im guessing

I would recommend finding a local Linux User's Group (or a friend with broadband) and get them for nothing. Most LUGers will give or lend a CD set with no problem. Plus you can get direct support from people who have gone through this before.
