Gary_Player
I just bought one of the new powerbooks and I have to say its the best purchase I've ever made (so far at least). I dont like the newer ibooks, they just feel too damn cheap, especially when you put one next to a powerbook. They keyboard is the worst part, the old ibooks had a decent keyboard but the new ones are just these cheap plastic-ey feeling peices of crap that just cant stand up to the hotness that is the powerbooks keyboard...speaking of which i need to clean mine ;) gnite kids

andrew_simpson
thanks for the info, it was out of PC World but the small screen has put me off it's alot smaller than i thought, saving for the 15" now
BTallack
I have a 12" 1GHz Powerbook and it's great. 1GHz is enough power for my music applications. (Cubase SX and Digital Performer) The small screen doesn't bother me at all, although I think the next Powerbook I buy will be a 15" just for the extra screen revenue. I did upgrade the ram to 512MB though as 256MB just wasn't cutting it.

And funny first time heard people say sixth-form, which in Hong Kong called form six(I believe is As-level, no?) But when I was in college, no English student will talk to me... 1 is maybe I am too shy. 2 maybe people scared of Chinese people* 3 They jealous of my good look* *means joking :D
