housegroover
Edit: Topic should read; PC user wishing to buy a Mac :p I was checking out eBay for used Macs but I'm to sure what specs mean Reason being, is that ill be doing a video editing course soon and the program we will be using is only for the Mac. A standard PC would be no less then a 128mg of ram with a P3 processor. What would that be in Mac terms? Thanks guys. the evn show
pretty much anything shipping today, or an older G4 powermac system. A G3 would do the job but the "good" software like finalcutpro or idvd are G4 only. Edit: Running os x on less 256mb or less can be painful - most people here highly recommend 512+
