OSX- after using windows for many years, the first G4 Mac I saw made me go like "wow!" and after that I saw an Imac, and that was even more "wow!!!! :o ". These were all nice to stare at but when I saw OSX and it was like holy sh**. All the shinyness, glossness, aquafiedness bliss. Somene told me about holding CTRL (i think) while opening an item on a dock to see it zoom in, and that kept me busy for most of the day. :)

The best was the orginal Macintosh computer. It was the best designed cus it probably took more work to make it than any other computer apple has ever made (per time period and current conditions) If it wasnt for that little guy apple would not be were they are today.

IMO sure its not the best mac or the fastest but if a product launced my company it would be the best thing i ever designed no matter what comes after it. dont know if anyone else here would feel that way but i imgaine Jobs does.

Wow--- I hate this post! How can I choose? The only thing Apple doesn't design well is Quicktime for the PC ;) I voted the G5 tower, but geez, it's like making me choose with sibling I like best.

I'd have to say the iBook and Powerbook. They're both pretty damn nice.

I choose other: the original mouse.

my m8's dad got one sent to his company by apple almost a year before they were out on the market. I think functionality and purpose is what makes something "well designed", and where would we be without the mouse?

iMac 20"

Amen. The iMac is one sexy machine.

Software wise I'd have to go with OSX because it's so easy to use. Before OSX I hated apple with a passion.

I'm not trying to start anything but xerox came up with the mouse (and the GUI), not apple. Just a factoid. As far as the genuis of the mouse goes, whoever had the idea should've definitly been rewarded.

i would have to say its between the iMac G3, iMac G4, the cube and of course Mac OS X

imac - saved the company and made the world more colourful

imac g4 - a computer of the future

cube - i like how u can pull the core out

mac os x - i wouldn't have bought a mac without this.

oh and btw, no one said Macintosh, the thing that really started it all...
