Apple releasing Tiger is amazing.. Which features would everyone like to see in Tiger? I am hoping they make Tiger much faster...

I like the idea of Apple bring Tiger out at MacWorld 2005, this will give them tons of time to test and retest features and add more..

Apple really needs a product that can reenergize people into getting on the MAC train...

I wonder if we'll get to here Jobs mangle its pronuncation for a year until 10.5 ships.

Mac OS X tag-wire: it's insanely GRRRREAT!

Now that world+dog knows about it, you'd think they'd start putting $5/week aside just incase they decide it's worth the upgrade price when it finally ships - but no! Instead some of us will scrounge up $69 for the student release the day after it ships, and others will complain about the $130/year 'forced' upgrade that Apple springs on it's users. It'll be like October all over again.

My personal plea:

Apple, if there is a god in heaven please just port the OS 9 finder to Cocoa and and be done with it! I'll even put up with the chooser provided you bring back tabbed folders and folders that have predictable size, shape, and icon view settings!

The wildest feature rumour that i've heard so far entails Apple working on wine+x86 emulator to run windows programs.

Yeah I hear about that.... did you hear about the ad-on that makes pigs fly :)

There are rumours that Disk Utility will be more advanced! Permission repairs will occur behind the scenes. Not a show-stopper, but practical! However, there's still life left in Panther and I'd be more than happy to wait until 2005 for the next major revision!

mac? i thought he wanted someone to make this mystery style into a vs...

considering it doesn't exist to port, you can now discuss tiger. The mac flaming isn't too accepted by the mods of this forum either, so this will keep it civilized and on topic.
