Free Visual Basic .NET 2003 Standard Edition

Recommended Posts

A nice gift from your favorite Neowin Moderator (or at least, I will be now... ):

Would you like your very own copy of Visual Basic .Net? I know *I* would! So how could you get this amazing product for free? Watching movies, of course! And not any movies, ones from Microsoft on your PC!

Here's how it works. Watch 5 short movies, then fill out a survey for each. When you're done, follow the directions for you own free copy (while supplies last).

I did a seach and didn't see this posted anywhere, so here you go! Have fun!! Don't forget to grab some popcorn! :D

This offer is valid in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, all U.S. military bases that contain valid APO/FPO addresses, and Canada.

**** (I will give you a clue, it starts with F, ends with K and has UC in the middle)

u dont even have to watch them, just rate it!

a bit dumb...they should make the rating at the end of a flash or something.

Oh, and do they mail it to you or do you download it?

I can't believe they're actually mailing us a copy :) Wouldn't it be far less expensive to simply provide a download link? I can't believe I have to wait 4-6 weeks for it, but at least it's free and I'll get a CD cover :D

I didn't mind watching the videos :) The last VB version I've used was 6.0, so it was a welcomed refresher.

hmmm did anyone notice that the shipping info email address had a startrek domain and not a microsoft one :p ?
