iAlphan
Hello Everyone, I am having a problem with my safari's text encoding. For some reason it's in a different language (arabic) or something? I tried reseting Safari and changed the text encoding but it's still the same. Does anyone know anything about this? Here is the screenshot! Thanks

8tImER
And as that page will probably still be in arabic characters, just select any language from the drop down box and click the button at the bottom of the page. See if it uses latin characters. Shouldn't be too hard to find English in the drop down box then ;) I just set mine to arabic... Firefox even puts the links on the left side of the textbox and all text is going from right to left, nice :)

iAlphan
Just Select English scroll down and select save preferences. I did that... still doesn't work! It partially works. For example: if i go to neowin.net Everythng is fine(English) but on Yahoo and Google it's still arabic looking.

sebaz
So u delete the preference file com.apple.Safari.plist the app Safari.app the Safari folder in the Library And then re-doownloaded safari, i suppose. Try this go to Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility and repair permissions on ur HD volume, seee if that helps you out.
