I just installed a clean copy of windowsxp and tried windows update but I still dont hear any sound. (MC)RaGe Posted September 17, 2001 Share Posted September 17, 2001 As far as I know, Windows XP includes drivers for all SoundBlaster cards in XP by default. I myself have an X-Gamer 5.1, that worked from first boot and on. If all else fails though, go with some Windows 2000 drivers. Check www.soundblaster.com for more info. Also, have you contacted Gateway? Slim chance in hell they'll help you if you changed your OS, but it's worth a shot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
