aristotle-dude
What kinda blank DVD (and what speed) should I get for For Apple superdrive? Get 4X compatible DVD-R. If you are going for a spindle, go name brand like memorex. I bought a spindle of cheaper ones (Aterra) and had to throw out over half due to defects and scratches. Always go with name brand. It's not worth it if over half end up as coasters and you are only saving 10% on the price.

shodan
I've tried Memorex 4x spindle once, and now I only use those. They are very good and reliable.... and cheap too! :D

aldo
Ritek based media is the best I find. I'm not sure what brands it will be sold under in N. America, but in England we have a lot of ritek based media that works just great in my 8x drive...
