Slacker
I have a PowerBook with built in bluetooth. I would like to get a bluetooth mouse to go with it so that I don't have to worry about dongles or adapters. I konw that Apple has thier one button bluetooth mouse, but I would like to have a mouse with a scroll wheel. I know that Thermaltake and Belkin and bluetake all make a plane 3-button and scrollwheel mouse, but I'm having a hard time finding a place in Canada that sells one of them except for NCIX who has the thermaltake one. First of all, will any bluetooth mouse work with OS X 10.3.x?. Secondly, does anyone know a place in Toronto that has the bluetake or thermaltake mouse in stock where I can actually go in and see one? My next choice would be to get the Microsoft Bluetooth explorer mouse... it is larger than I wanted, and it has more buttons than I wanted, but it's easily available... Does anyone have experience using this mouse with thier Mac? Thanks,
dougkinzinger
I have the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth myself, and I do love it. However, I've never used it or the Microsoft adapter on a Mac. I would presume that if you got Bluetooth working, then yes, the mouse would work using standard input drivers. wtmcgee
the mx900 is the best. ive owned the MS bluetooth and the logitech one, and trust me, the logitech is the best, by far. also, it has a rechargable battery that can be recharged in the included dock. so, at night, you can just plop it down in the cradle, and you're good to go in the A.M. saves you battery costs over the life of the mouse. dougkinzinger
Yes, I wish the Microsoft one had a dock to re-charge ... the Bluetooth mouse sucks up SOOO much more power than the newer Wireless Explorer 2.0.
