Boffa Jones Veteran Posted May 27, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 27, 2004 You see it happening more and more and more i have recently seen 3-4 posts in less than five minutes would it be too much of a pain in the ass to delete the extra ones because the people are too lazy to use the edit button? or if i report them as im sure someone will say will anything be done? Banzai
I think we should be able to delete our own theads should someone double post and need to remove one, I agree this is a problem, maybe you could set something up so you cant post in the same thead once after each other. Dose that make sence?
....
If you report them, they will get deleted. Self-deleteing will cause more problems than what's worth. Members abusing the post-count feature...not all, but some.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted May 27, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 27, 2004 You realize almost all double posts get taken care of eventually. With the server loads recently, sometimes people don't know if their post went up or not so they resubmit it. It's an accident and a mod will eventually come across it and take care of it. Boffa Jones Veteran Posted May 27, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted May 27, 2004 one second though. Im not talking about two identical posts. Im talking about someone posting a new thing in each post, when all htey had to do was make paragraphs or new sentences in their post sorry if i wasn't clear
