/DEV/TOY/

maybe he's a linux/unix dude... and it's this guy's way of saying that his car is his toy.

/dev/ (device) /toy/ (toy)

for example, "/dev/hda1/ = 1st hard drive

The other day, I saw a vanity plate in NC that said "/DEV/TOY/"

Anyone know what this means?

That you have full visual capabilities?

 Could be Devon's Toy ... ask the guy.

I agree with threetoonesun, why would it have slashes then? And if it was just some random person's vanity plate, chances are he'll never see them again, and it's not like he got out in the middle of traffic and asked the person. Not that big of a deal.

  • 2 weeks later...

Didn't really notice. I was too busy trying to figure out what the plate meant

(To the person who asked it, in NC, you are allowed to have slashes)
