Neowin mobile

Recommended Posts

Every so often I have a problem viewing Neowin mobile on my phone - I can see the front page, and the lists of news items, but sometimes when I 'click' an item I get an 'unknown response' message and I can't read the article :(

The phone is a Nokia 6100, is that the problem?

It looks like a problem with your WAP gateway.

Sometimes if a news post has a " or ' in it, the php code used to parse the data gets stumped; i dont know whether this issue is still at large.

Some WAP gateways give errors when specific characters exist in the page content.

i.e., the 'dollar' character in a text can confuse some WAP gateways
