;) Jian Bing and just about anything Sichuan. Oh, it's so nice living in China now. I can get all the food for sooooo cheap, and it's so much better than the stuff in north america.

Actually, everyone should go to China try some real stuff....

For example, peking duck in China, people only eat the skin of the duck, and in the famous restuarant in beijing(can't remember its name) it cost about 60 pounds just for the skin of it. but here in London China tow, people the the meat as well.

:p I've had it a few times and to be honest, it's not that good. And yes, I've been to the original place. It's about 20 mins away from where I live.

lol

lice = rice :laugh:

it's just really bad "ching-lish" (chinese english)

In my knowledge, or I should say none of my Chinese friend talk English like that, so where the ching-lish come from?

lol, i don't know many oriental people that speak engrish or ching-lish, it just seems to be a stereotype.

that being said, i do know a few people who do speak like that, no worries, the language takes time to perfect.

Well, I have to disagree with u of that one...

We do have accent, and I don't see anything wrong with having a Chinese English accent, but really, I have never seen any Chinese people say fly lice instead of fry rice. Even when people do that, I don't see what wrong with it, as long as people can understand each other. Language is for communicating, the meaning of it is the most important thing

we all know what they mean, its not really a problem, but in my experience the oriental people that i know speak very good english, but then again they have lived in the western world for quite a while, im sure someone newer to this side of the world would have a much thicker accent.

Totally agreed.

But my point is, yes maybe we can't pronounce "th" (well some of us), or "ds" or something, but i don't think none of us say fly lice tho?
