Damn Spammers

Recommended Posts

I'm having a hell of a time with spammers recently. I made the mistake of adding a mailto: link with my address and now I get crap from every corner of the internet. The worst site is "intergal.com" I get up to four messages from that site per day. Suggestions? Ideas?

No, i use Outlook with a Yahoo POP3 account and Yahoo doesn't see through fake email headers so I can't block the address. I've set up nearly 13 filters so far with an additional 5 in Outlook.

Well my main spam concern is Hotmail although their spam blocker should be better now.

I use Poco for an email client which has an excelent intelligent spam blocker (nothing has passed it yet)

If your mailto is on your homepage, you could try the Anti-Spam Script Maker from:

http://assmaker.mybravenet.com/

It should disguise mailto's so robots and spamengines won't pick them up.

Won't help your current predicament, but might aid in the future, and a penny saved gets you a penny closer to buying that Ferrari...

Exclusive, for god sake stop following him around and posting the same retarded nonsense. we've taken care of it now, but in the future, use the report feature.
