Bearded Kirklander
I almost posted a reply in the wrong forum and it got me thinking - Are we allowed to delete our own posts on Neowin? Or even threads we start, for that matter? Thanks in advance for the answer. :)

Bearded Kirklander
nope mmmkay. :) So if we goof, we have to ask a moderator via PM to delete a post for us? BTW - is there any history behind why people can't delete their own posts and/or threads that they started? Mainly curious. Thanks

Thanks because it will be to easy for them to make an intentional mess and then "fix" it, also it will be a lot of incomplete threads, hence the information will be truncated. Also, you can ask us to delete (remove) a post of yours, but if its a flame or something like that you will receive a warning first, you make a mistake, live with it.
