Airsoft Gun - Guidance

Recommended Posts

Hello all!!

All of sudden I become interested on airsoft guns, especially the one with battery equipped. Airsoft spring also good but not really good enough for war games. I just did some browsing through Ebay and Google and asking questions to some of my friends..

What I'm asking here is help or guidance in Airsoft world. Such as finding the best-and-decent-price stores (online/brick stores), the best manufacturer, the differences between bullpup, electric, spring etc. Any help or guidance would be appreciated highly. And please I don't really want to have any flames/war between airsoft and paintball....they both are the same exciting games for me :)

Thank You :)

umm.. in my limited knownlegde.

Spring - Hand ###### after everyshot - cheap

Electric - gun has a battery that cocks it for you after everyshot - more expensive/larger selection.

gas - same thing but also used gas to shoot the pellet/bb/paintball/spike. - mainly pistols

http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store.html is a nice site. shows you the wide variety.. but I'd use it just to shop then go buy the gun in person in a store. try it out. ask all the questions you like. then if it breaks you spend less time mail ordering parts/sending the gun back.

Actually i'd like some information also. I hear they are illegal in my country(I live in canada) or atleast to import them. i have read as much as a can but i just dont know if i order somthing that it will get thru the border. Information for me on thsi subject is scarce if non existant. BTW the website with the nicest catalogue and prices that i ahve seen has to be http://www6.wargameclub.com/WGC_Shop/ hope it helps.

Honestly, I live in canada and I have seven airsoft pistols. All spring, just got a gas one lately -- and I even bought this one _in canada_. At a flea market.

Omega Beretta 93r.

Coincidentially, I ordered the gas from a canadian dude on e-bay. Which shipped it from canada.

I know that you can ship from within the country but i want to get some of the highclass ones from over seas like a psg1 m181 or mp5sd6. i wonder how these guys get them. oh and some deagles would be kickass too.

i could recommond you a brand. and that is to go with Walther!

also the loading mechanism for the C02 is very important, try and get an easy loading unit. not the kind where you have to screw it in really fast before all the air escapes.

the P99 is what i have.. or had until my parents took it away

just dont go sticking you nice new mp5 out or you car window - my m8 did that and they got caught by the cops all 3 of my m8's now have formal cautions :D - look at the guidelines for your country - go down to the police station and ask first

my airsoftclub does it shopping from uncomany.com in hongkong. (we live in norway)

advice:

- go for mauri brand

- springers aint fun

- for realism dont buy high cap magasins

- treat you gear nice

- wear protection goggles

- if you live in a very cold climate like norway you wont be able to use gas in the winter or when its cold..

- have fun !
