Jon Posted March 8, 2002 Share Posted March 8, 2002 Its used to connect two seperate networks together, for example, if you had 2 network cards in your pc, one was connected to a home lan, the other to a corporate lan. You could bridge the 2 cards, and effectively join your home lan to the work lan. I'm not 100% sure how it works, but I suspect its just a routing alteration.
